4. Data from Third Parties

Film and television metadata displayed on Cinemanic is sourced from The Movie Database (TMDB). Watch provider availability data is sourced from JustWatch. If you use our data import features (e.g. Letterboxd, YouTube), we process the data you provide to populate your Cinemanic profile and watchlist. We do not retain your credentials for these third-party services.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage to save your theme preferences and session information. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Essential cookies may be set by our hosting and authentication providers to maintain your session and ensure the Service functions correctly.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information and content within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain data for legal or compliance purposes. Aggregate or anonymised data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
